Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you visit arya.clothing or sign up for first access to our first drop, we may collect:

Information you provide: your email address and, if you choose to answer, whether you are shopping for women's or men's pieces. If you email us, we receive your message and email address.

Information collected with your signup: the page address you signed up from and any campaign tags in that link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term), so we know which posts and partners bring people to ARYA.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider and the network that serves our fonts receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and device.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API: we use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure our ads and show ARYA to people who may be interested. When you visit, it records the pages you view, when you scroll to our collection and when you sign up, along with your IP address, browser and device information and a Meta cookie identifier. When you sign up, your email address is also shared with Meta in hashed (scrambled) form so Meta can match the signup to an ad you saw. Meta also receives these events through its Conversions API so they are counted accurately. You can turn this off at any time (see section 6).

Site analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages and sources people come from. It does not use cookies and reports only totals, not individual visitors. We may also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors scroll, click and move through the site (with form fields such as your email masked) and creates heatmaps so we can improve the page. Clarity sets cookies (named _clck and _clsk) and is provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity stays off if you opt out (see section 6).

Referrals: when you sign up, we create a personal referral link for you. If a friend joins through your link, we record that the referral came from you so we can credit you. If you arrived through a friend's link, we save their referral code in your browser for up to 30 days and add it to your signup.

Klaviyo: when you sign up, your email address, the form you used, any women's or men's choice, the page address, the campaign tags in your link and your referral details are sent to Klaviyo, our email provider. Klaviyo also records when you open or click our emails.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to send you updates about ARYA and the first drop, to measure and improve our advertising, to understand which channels people find us through, to improve our website, and to respond to your messages.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information for money. We share it with the service providers we need to run ARYA: Klaviyo for email, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Microsoft Clarity for site analytics and Google Fonts for delivering fonts. We also share the information described above with Meta for advertising. Under California law, sharing information with Meta for ads based on your activity may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and you can opt out (see section 6).

3. Emails and unsubscribing

Every email we send includes a link to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by writing to hello@arya.clothing.

4. Cookies and local storage

The Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies (named _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad) so Meta can recognize your browser and connect your visit to its ads. During your visit this site may also keep campaign tags in your browser's session storage so they are not lost if you refresh the page; that storage is cleared when you close the tab. If you opt out, we remember your choice in your browser's local storage. Our email provider may set its own cookies when you open or click our emails.

5. Your rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request that we correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@arya.clothing. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires.

6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You can opt out of us sharing your information with Meta for advertising. Once you opt out, the Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity no longer load on this site in this browser and we stop sending your visits and signups to Meta. Your choice is saved in this browser, so repeat it on each browser or device you use.

We also honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends that signal, we treat it as an opt out automatically.

To stop Klaviyo emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to hello@arya.clothing.

7. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information and work only with established providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we do our best to keep your information safe.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
